TSS Continues Longstanding Support for Make-A-Wish®

TSS Photography’s relationship with Make-A-Wish goes back to more than 10 years ago, when its CEO and co-founder, Carl E. Hansson, attended a charity golf tournament that benefited his local Georgia chapter.
Today, Hansson’s involvement and dedication with Make-A-Wish continues. He has held office of vice chair and chairman of the National Board of Directors and is currently chairman of the National Advisory Council and member of the National Philanthropy Committee.
“We have worked with Make-A-Wish to touch numerous children’s lives throughout the last 10 years, and I see that relationship strengthening as the newly branded TSS Photography franchise grows,” Hansson said.
David Williams, Make-A-Wish America

president and chief executive officer, said Hansson has played a key role in supporting our oganization. “Carl has a tremendous appreciation for the Make-A-Wish mission and a deep understanding of the organization through his volunteer experience,” Williams said “He’s a passionate advocate for the remarkable children we serve.”
TSS Photography® is incredibly proud of Carl’s lasting dedication to various charitable organizations including Make-A-Wish,” said TSS Photography President Joe Lindenmayer.“Carl founded TSS Photography with a focus on community outreach, and we intend to continue building on the philanthropic culture that he first created.”

What They Do
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. According to a 2011 U.S. study of wish impact, most health professionals surveyed believe a wish-come-true can have positive impacts on the health of children. Kids say wishes give them renewed strength to fight their illnesses, and their parents say these experiences help strengthen the entire family. Based in Phoenix, Make-A-Wish is one of the world’s leading children’s charities, serving children in every community in the United States and its territories. With the help of generous donors and more than 25,000 volunteers, Make-A-Wish grants a wish somewhere in the country every 38 minutes. It has granted more than 212,000 wishes since its inception in 1980; nearly 14,000 in 2011 alone. Visit Make-A-Wish at wish.org and discover how you can share the power of a wish®
